Every venue is vetted against our editorial standards: we weigh the quality of the heat, the setting, community feel, cold-plunge and open-water access, and price. Dedicated sauna experiences make the cut; gym amenities and hotel add-ons don't.

How is Sauna Discovery different from general review sites?

Rankings on general review platforms mix dedicated saunas in with gyms, spas, and hotel facilities, so the best independent venues get buried. Sauna Discovery lists standalone sauna experiences only, and every description is researched and written by an editor.
